The NEST

We are really pleased to let you know that we have a name of our 'helpful hub'.

A huge thank you to everyone who suggested a name there were lots of lovely ideas. Staff and Governors have voted and have agreed on the name: "The NEST"

Together

We thought this was a name that 'sums' up what its all about - a nest is a safe, secure and nurturing place and fits in with our theme of trees.

We will be launching the opening of The NEST over the next few weeks starting with our annual harvest collections.

Between Monday 16th and Monday 23rd October we are asking for donations of any of the following to stock The NEST. Jackie and Alison will collect at the gate when you drop off your children.

All items must be in date and non-perishable:

Tinned and dried foods to include as an example:

Pasta
Rice
Noodles
Soup
Pasta Sauce
Curry Sauce
Tinned tomatoes
Tinned meat
Tinned fruit
Tinned vegetables
Tinned fish
Instant mash potato
Long life milk/non-dairy alternative
Cereal
Squash
Tea
Coffee
Toilet rolls

Toiletries:

Shower gel
Deodorant
Sanitary items
Bubble bath
Soap
Flannel
Sponge
Shampoo

Other examples:

Washing up liquid
Washing tablets/powder/liquid
Household cleaning items
Nappies

Anything else you can think of that is non-perishable

There is no pressure to donate as we are fully aware that times are very hard for many people at this present time. We then hope that those families who need support will access and take items from The NEST - where everyone supports together.
