On Tuesday 1st December it is our favourite day of the year our 'Dress like an elf' day. On this day we invite everyone to come to nursery dressed as an elf! This does NOT have to be a costume but can be any red and green clothing, elf pyjamas or a t-shirt.
On this day we will be raising money for Birmingham Childrens Hospital charity https://www.bch.org.uk/. Any donations no matter how small will be gratefully received.
On Wednesday 16th December it is our annual 'Christmas Jumper' day. All children and staff are invited to wear Christmas themed clothing to Nursery.
For each of these days if there is ANY family that is going to find it a challenge financially to provide items for their child to wear we do have some spare we can lend out for the day. If this is you then please just come and speak to Alison by Friday 27th November and we can find your child something to wear.
We look forward to seeing all children being able to take part.

I am pleased to share that there were 36 pupils with attendance at 97% or above this half term with 16 of these pupils attending for 100% - certificates have been given out.
This half term there have been 273 absences for illnesses and 30 for medical appointments. There have been 65 unauthorised absences and 48 lates. It would be fantastic to see these numbers of absences reduce in the Autumn half term 2.
Persistent absence sits at 46% (This is the number of pupils with attendance under 90%).
We are pleased to share in line with Benedicts Law, Netherton Park Nursery School has an emergency allergy Anaphalyaxis Kitt on site. This contains two Jext Adrenaline Auto-Injectors for use with children under 6 years old and two for those over 6 years. These are for use on ANY person who may be experiencing a severe allergic reaction. No consent is needed for staff to use these devises in an emergency situation in order to save a life.
We are holding our next open day on Saturday 17th October at 10.00am, for children to start in September 2027. This is an opportunity to come and have a lok around our wonderful Nursery School and meet the staff.
If you would like to attend please call and book a place on 01384 283687.
