  • Snow closure update

    Tue 12 Dec 2017
Kindergarten/Daycare will be open as normal tomorrow, Wednesday 13th December.  Nursery and Time for Two's will be open for their Christmas parties!!
  • Snow closure update

    Mon 11 Dec 2017

Time for Two's, Leapfrog and Nursery School provision will unfortunately need to remain closed tomorrow, Tuesday 12th December due to inclement weather conditions. Kindergarten/Daycare will be open, however parents need to be aware that the car park and Arch Hill street are impassable and road conditions in Greaves Road and Recreation Street are very difficult. The pathways in the park itself have not been cleared by the council and as such are still quite deeply laden with snow. Please be careful especially if you are carrying small children! We will try to ensure the school is fully open by Wednesday in time for Christmas parties.

    Best wishes

    Helen Ruffles

    Headteacher/Head of Centre

  • Early closure for Nursery and Time for Two's due to snow

    Fri 08 Dec 2017

Nursery and Time for Two's will be closing today at 11.30am due to the snow.

This means there will be no afternoon session for Time for Two's today, Friday 8th December.

All children in Nursery will need to be collected by 11.30am today.

At the moment Wraparound and Kindergarten are open as normal but we will re-assess the situation at 11.30am.

    Thank you

  • Centre closure procedures due to Snow

    Thu 07 Dec 2017

    We endeavour to remain open as much as possible through snow/bad weather conditions. In the unfortunate event that the Centre would need to close or alter it's opening hours due to snow and bad weather, families will be informed in the following ways;

    • The Centre website will be updated.
    • Our Facebook page will be updated.
    • A message will be sent out on Tapestry.
    • Local radio stations will be informed and the Centre's details will be read out on their list of closures. The radio stations are; Black Country Radio, Free Radio Wolverhampton and the Black Country and Free Radio Birmingham.
    • The Dudley council website will be updated with closures, www.dudley.gov.uk

We ask parents, carers and visitors to take extra care when accessing the Centre in icy/snowy conditions as the paths in the park can be slippery. In cases of severe ice/snow we will close the car park if we feel that people may have problems getting on and off.
