Keep up to date with all the latest news from the school
We would like to say a massive thank you to all parents/carers and staff who donated food as part of our Harvest for the local food bank. This will mke a huge difference to local families.
We are overwhelmed at the amount we have collected. We also had donations of toys and clothes. Jackie is taking it all to the Netherton Food Bank tomorrow.
We now have a box just inside our main Reception for ongoing Food Bank donations should you wish to donate at any point in the future.
If you are in need of support with accessing food (or you know of any family) please come and see Jackie as she is able to distribute Food Bank vouchers to enable access to food.
Family Learning in Dudley are encouraging parents to spend time with their children, explore the great outdoors and embrace community cohesion and sustainability through a series of six challenges in the autumn months.
They are running a short course entitled 'Active Autumn' which is available to anyone who has access to the Internet.
Anyone interested can find out more and register an interest by telephoning the main ACL telephone number 01384 818143.
There is also the option to upload comments and photographs of their achievements.
As with all Family Learning courses, there is no charge to participate.
Unfortunately it has been brought to my attention that there have been a few instances recently of parents/carers speaking to staff in a manner that is deemed unnacceptable. I need to point out that we expect all staff to be shown respect in the way they are spoken to - this includes face to face and over the telephone.
If you are unhappy about something we ask that you speak to staff in a calm manner and out of earshot of any of our children.
This is only a small proportion of parents/carers however it has made staff feel uneasy. We thank you for your support with this.
