  • Absences

    A reminder to all parents that if your child is unwell and is unable to attend their session then you need to contact the school on the first day they will be absent.
    This must be before 9.30am for morning sessions and before 1.00pm for afternoon sessions

    Letting us know your child's full name, their group and the reason they are absent.

     

    Children can still come in with a cough or a cold but please remember that for sickness and diarrhoea they need to stay off for 48 hours after the last time they were unwell.


    It is VERY important that you contact us - if we haven't heard from you Jackie will call you to see if everything is ok.  If we cant get hold of you she might come out to visit you at home.

  • Christmas Raffle

    Tickets are now on sale for our Christmas raffle with lots of great prizes 
    30p each or 5 tickets for £1 
    Please purchase from Reception 
    All money raised supports the centre

     

    Prizes include:

    • Large food hamper
    • Russell Hobs kettle & toaster (twin pack) donated by Geoff Hill
    • E-Ticket in respect of 4 Entrance Tickets to Hatton Adventure World
    • 2 Complimentary child tickets to Dudley Zoo.
    • £10 voucher to spend at Chapman Electrical
    • Blakemore have donated funds to purchase – large 150 cl bottle of Prosecco, tins of After Eight, large boxes/tins of biscuits & sweets.

    • Hot (Galaxy) Chocolate Reindeer with chocolate drops and mallows - £2 each  
    • Coming soon - (bio-degradable) Reindeer food to help the Reindeer fly on Christmas Eve – 50p per bag.

  • Parent Consultations

    Thank you to all parents who attended the consultations today. It was lovely to see so many families in the centre and have the chance to talk about the amazing achievements of all the children. 

    We have received some great feedback and appreciate the comments made.

  • Children In Need

    Thank you to all of the families and staff for supporting Children In Need last week we are pleased to say we have raised £124.05
  • Non Uniform/Fancy Dress Days!

    Next week we are asking for donations of bottles - these need to be unopened and in date but can be anything from bottles of alcohol, shampoo, children's drinks or bubble bath

    Please bring donations on any day next week.

    We can still take donations of unused children's gits and chocolate if you haven't brought yours in yet

    Non Uniform/Fancy Dress Days!

    We are having non uniform/fancy dress days, each Wednesday

    during the weeks below, in order to raise donations for our         

    Brunch with Santa on Saturday 7th December

    We are asking parents/carers to help us by donating items that can be used as prizes

     

    Please bring donations on any day of the following weeks:

     

    ¨ Week beginning 4th November, we are asking for donations of NEW unused/unwanted gifts for children

     

    ¨ Week beginning 11th November, we are asking for donations of chocolates / sweets

     

    ¨ Week beginning 18th November, we are asking for bottle donations e.g. toiletries, adult / children drinks

  • Nursery Rhyme Week

    We are taking part in World Nursery Rhyme Week 18th - 22nd November 2019

    During the week the children and staff will enjoy learning the following Nursery Rhymes:

    Monday - Row Row Row your boat 
    Tuesday - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 once I caught a fish alive 
    Wednesday - 2 little dickie birds sitting on a wall 
    Thursday - I'm a little tea pot 
    Friday - 5 little speckled frogs

    We hope you will enjoy learning these rhymes at home with your child - please upload any videos of your child singing these rhymes at home to their Tapestry page (Please add #rhymes to the observation notes)
