Nature Play sessions for EYPP pupils
Using the Leuven Scale for wellbeing and involvement, two small groups of children have been identified to take part in a series of 5 Nature Play sessions.
The aim of the sessions is to support children's confidence, well being and therefore their learning, in small groups and all whilst in nature.
Outdoors often inspires increased communication, proven to have positive effects on wellbeing and it allows for different experiences. We plan exciting, challenging and fun activities ranging from mud play, using tools (1-1 supervision), experience nature through the seasons, sounds and animals and to conclude our block of sessions we offer the opportunity of observing cooking on an open fire.
