Parent/Carer Survey February 2021

46% of parents/carers completed our electronic survey.  Here are some of the comments received:

What do you feel we do well?

'Great communication, regular updates.  Polite and friendly staff. I know my child is in safe hands. Easily relatable'

'The staff know the children really well and care for them like they are their own. My child loves attending and I feel really happy to have chosen Netherton Park.'

'The nursery exists for the benefit of its children and they are always at the heart of decision making. There is a genuine care for the children and their families. My child’s practitioners show a genuine interest in her.'

'Overall I think the nursery is run really well, key information is communicated promptly and every member of staff is friendly.'

'By my child you do everything amazing I can’t think of anything that I’ve not been happy with.'

'All staff/ teachers make parents and children feel very welcome and comfortable.'

'Lovely friendly members of staff which give me a sense of ease when my child is in their care.'

'Absolutely everything it’s the best place for any parent looking to place their child keep up the good work ladies.'

'You put the children’s needs first, treat them as individuals and really care about their development. I think the support my two children have needed has been approached as a ‘partnership’ with us as parents, which I think has been really good.  Also found it easy to  discuss areas that we aren’t sure about i.e my child's speech as home felt more developed than it was at nursery, I was able to discuss with Lauren and we were advised that more support was needed at nursery.  I liked this honesty, as it allows us to plan our actions and support at home too.'

'There is a comfortable and friendly community at the school, parents are made to feel welcome and part of the school. There is a sort of non-formal relationship between staff and parent which makes it more relaxing and not out of place. Even during COVID and snowy weather conditions the staff went above and beyond for our children which was absolutely incredible and I cannot fault them.'

'Very well planned and thought out to play for the children. Especially the outdoor area and connecting with the nature around them which is  essential for a healthy development.'

Is there anything you feel we could do to improve?

'No very happy with my son's progress and he loves nursery.'

'No, nothing, you're all doing an amazing job!'

'I personally am comfortable with how things are progressing with my child at the school, and also how I feel towards the school. So, for now there’s nothing I would improve.'

'We believe the nursery and staff are giving their 110%'.

'No don’t think so, you really do a great job.'

'Seriously nothing we are so happy with the service and care our child receives, all staff are well trained and very helpful and polite.'

Any individual comments parents raised were dealt with on a case by case basis.
