Information from Dudley Council:
'We are excited to inform you, that today Cllr Barlow will be launching the Blue Monday – Turning Dudley Green campaign.
With the third lockdown potentially lasting until March, the next few months aren’t going to be easy. This campaign to turn our borough green is aimed at raising awareness of the importance of our mental health, kindness and varied free support that’s available across the borough. We know that this campaign isn’t going to improve everyone’s mental health, but if it helps at least one person to get through these challenging times it will have been a success.
The pandemic has caused a lot of uncertainty, particularly in educational settings. Changes and challenges such as the shift to home working, disrupted routines, home schooling, upsetting news announcements, worry about loved ones are all impacting on our health and wellbeing.
Looking after our mental health has never been so important. As part of this year’s Blue Monday – Turning Dudley Green Campaign.'
As part of this we are inviting all staff and children to wear something green on Monday 18th January - we would love you to all take part even if this is not a day you attend Nursery.
